Lunar Yoga – living in tune with the rhythm of the moon
In my world, Lunar Yoga is a way of honoring the cyclical nature of both ourselves and the universe. The practice is inspired by the eight phases of the moon and the feminine wisdom that lives in our bodies. In my classes, I invite you to slow down, listen inwardly, and adapt your yoga to where you are – in your own cycle or in the moon’s.
So often we push ourselves forward, no matter how we feel. We keep going on coffee, sugar, and willpower when our bodies whisper for rest. Lunar Yoga is an invitation to remember that we are not linear beings – we are cyclical. Our energy rises and falls, just like the moon. When we flow with these rhythms instead of resisting them, we find more balance, vitality, and ease.
Each class offers space to explore both yin and yang – soft, grounding sequences as well as more dynamic flows – depending on what supports you best in the moment. You don’t need to be in perfect sync with the moon or your cycle; what matters is showing up as you are and meeting yourself there.
My Lunar Yoga classes are open to all women, at every stage of life. Even if you no longer menstruate, you can use the moon as your guide. With gentle practices and the support of props like bolsters and cushions, you are invited into a space that is not about performance, but about reconnecting with yourself and finding your inner compass.
I warmly welcome you to join me – to slow down, breathe, and rediscover the power of living in harmony with the cyclical.
