Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga
A supportive practice for strength, softness, and embodied presence
This practice is designed to support both physical and emotional wellbeing during a time of profound transition. Through mindful movement, breath awareness, and rest, you are invited to cultivate presence, strength, and trust in your body — just as it is, moment by moment.
You are welcomed exactly where you are in your journey, without pressure or performance.
“The wisdom and compassion a woman can intuitively experience in childbirth can make her a source of healing and understanding for other women.”
— Ina May Gaskin
The practice
Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga works with the body in a respectful and adaptive way, supporting the musculoskeletal system, the breath, and the nervous system during pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
Classes include gentle movement, functional strengthening, conscious breathing, and restorative rest. The practice is designed to ease common discomforts, support posture and stability, and create space for relaxation and integration.
Rather than pushing or fixing, the emphasis lies on listening, adapting, and building a sustainable relationship with the body during a time of change.
“There is no way to be a perfect mother, but a million ways to be a good one.”
— Jill Churchill
Who this practice is for
This practice is open to women at all stages of pregnancy and postpartum, including the months and years after birth.
No prior yoga experience is required. You are encouraged to move at your own pace, rest when needed, and adapt the practice to your body’s needs. The space is held with care, sensitivity, and respect for each individual journey.
“Your body is not a problem to be solved, but a wisdom to be listened to.”
— Unknown

About Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga
Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga draws from traditional yoga practices, modern movement knowledge, and an understanding of the physiological and emotional changes that occur during pregnancy and after birth.
The practice supports women through one of life’s most transformative phases, honoring both strength and vulnerability. By combining gentle movement, breath, and rest, Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga creates a space for recovery, resilience, and embodied presence.
At its heart, the practice is about cultivating trust — in the body’s wisdom, in the process of change, and in the unfolding journey into motherhood.
